Here is the final engagement blog for Sharon and Jon.  You guys did wonderful.  Not really sure how you guys pulled off an engagement shoot after a red eye flight, but job well done!  You guys came at the perfect time of the year too!  Imagine doing the shoot with the weather we’re getting right now!  Yikes.  Anyways, I’m totally looking forward to your wedding in Cali!

Weather has been warm and beautiful the past few weeks so I’ve been busy out shooting!  Here is the final edits of Sam & Vince’s engagement shoot.  Hope you all enjoy!  Many more shoots will be coming in the near future.  Thanks Sam and Vince,  you guys were great!

What great weather we’ve been getting lately!  Warm weather, sunshine and no rain.  I wonder what this summer will be like?  I’m not complaining though.  Good weather means good photo op!  Here is a sneak peek of Sam & Vince eshoot this past weekend.  You guys did amazing, and sure looked like you had a lot of fun too!  While you wait for more photos to come, here are two from the day.  More will be coming very soon!

A shoot here with Jeremy done a while ago.  A great model with very creative style.  It was an awesome shoot and it gave me a chance to really experiment with the external lighting!  I had a lot of fun too.  Note to self – I really have to start taking more photos like these!

So it seems that time is flying by so quickly these days!   I now have a backlog of shoots that need to be shared with you guys.  With the snow that we are finally getting the past week, some of us are wishing that summer can be here faster!  Here is a first batch that might remind you what fall weather is like.  Thanks Artom!  You were a great model!

Congrats to Victoria and Samuel!  This wedding on Christmas day was my last wedding of 2009.  I’ve been sitting on these photos for the past month and finally have the time to share these with you all.   Hope you enjoy!  By the way,  I was away in Asia (for those of you who don’t know) so that means I should have a lot of photos to share with you guys in the near future!

Finally, the portfolio, site and blog have all been updated!  My portfolio at willyau.com now has my updated wedding photos from this summer.  I really enjoyed putting this together.  It’s nice to see all the wedding photos in a slideshow.  Unfortunately, I had to remove the sports section.  I feel the portfolio was just getting too crowded with too many different things.  I’ll probably upload the sports stuff to facebook or something so you guys can still check out the photos.  The site has received a minor makeover with a dark outter border now so that there is a higher contrast between the content and the background.  It’s just a minor aesthetic tweak – hope you all like.  Both the blog and willyau.com have received the AddThis button – now you can easily share/bookmark my pages!  Awesome, isn’t it?   The blog also has a new rotating banner at the top of the blog.  A new photo is displayed every 5 seconds.  Lastly, if you ever have any problems or bugs with the flash slideshow on willyau.com, please let me know.  It’s an ongoing flash development project done by me and I’m a horrible tester!  I’ve thought about using other ready made flash slideshow but then, a homebrew software is always more customizable and allows for faster feature implementation.
